On 18 November 2025 – An engaging online Q&A discussion as a precursor to the upcoming ODC International Forum for Young Marine  Scientists. The session, themed "Generate Mesh from SMS," featured an insightful presentation by Professor Wanqing Chi, who guided participants through the process of "How to use SMS to generate mesh for numerical simulation."
 

During the interactive session, Professor Chi delivered a live, step-by-step demonstration, illustrating how to effectively create and optimize mesh structures. The practical session is useful for the subsequent hydrodynamic simulations, offering attendees valuable operational insights and technical know-how.

 

Allan Rarai, one of the attendees, shared his feedback: "The content of this meeting is very practical. Professor Chi's explanation is very detailed, and I will continue to follow up on the subsequent learning  content."
